My bf is getting 1k from his work to go to dinner, where should we go?

So basically he slaved away so much they give him $$$ to go to a really nice restaurant w/ me. The only things we’re not very interested in is sushi or le bernadin. Anything else is on the table. Where would you go and please say why!!! Thank you 🙏

EDIT: the responses are wonderful, thank you all!! I realize I wasn’t clear about how exactly the 1k works—we’ll go and pay for it and then it will get approved via receipt by his work and reimbursed, so unfortunately it cannot be pocketed, spread among multiple dinners etc—so def in our best interest to get as close to that 1k as possible in one go
