We just got this sandwich from Radio Bakery and it’s the best sandwich I can remember eating and I am telling everyone about it

Burrata, prosciutto, basil on focaccia. Just incredible. I couldn’t believe how good it was. Miraculous. We got in right under the wire too, by the time we finished eating they were out of food for the day. I consider myself so lucky that I got to have this. submitted by /u/smokedoor5 [link] [comments]

3 Days in NYC

So we came to NYC for the weekend to see Glengarry on Broadway and I made it a point to try as many spots as I could squeeze into the time we had! Disclaimer: I am a complete noob when it comes to NYC food but I tried to make a solid list based on

Carne Asada bowl from a food truck. I was expecting something that looked like Chipotle

I got lunch from a food truck on 49th and 6th and was looking for something tasty and easy to eat. I was not expecting this. It was seasoned well but it was impossible to eat with just a plastic fork and knife. It is taking me days to cut through. submitted by /u/owjim [link]

I created a custom Google Map with this subreddit’s most popular restaurants

It currently has the top 100 posts from February, sorted by upvotes. I then filtered to only posts that review a single restaurant and used a combination of AI and the Google Maps API to fetch the proper maps links and locations, before exporting it to a shareable custom Google Map. Tapping on any of

Liebman’s Deli in The Bronx. God damn. My socks were knocked way off. The Liebman’s Special may be my favorite dish I’ve ever had at a Jewish Deli. I can’t wait to try their Westchester location.

They also give you free bread to make multiple sandwiches piled high with meat! It really doesn’t get much better than this. submitted by /u/destlp16 [link] [comments]

Harlem Chef’s Lab

I started a magazine to highlight my friends who run small businesses. Refettorio Harlem is a nonprofit that feeds the community two nights a week with dignity from a fully stocked kitchen with newly appointed executive Chef Kayla Phillips. To fundraise they started Chef’s Lab to offer patrons an opportunity to enjoy the food with

I ate what r/FoodNYC told me to, at Minetta Tavern.

Bone Marrow Some Cocktail recommended by the server. I got this instead of Martini, since I don’t like olives. The photo is blurry, because you are drunk. Black Label Burger. Yes I got it with cheese. Souffle for Two. I ate it by myself. Thanks to everyone in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/FoodNYC/comments/1iufja1/i_managed_to_snag_a_solo_minetta_tavern_booking/ TLDR: 8/10. So I
