Hit on the head by a rock thrown from a Grand St rooftop in Chinatown

Tonight around 7PM, I was walking with a cane after dinner at Nyonya on Grand St. I stopped in front of 203 Grand St to talk with a friend when something hit me hard on the head – a sharp, jarring pain. I looked down and saw a rock about the size of a finger segment that had fallen on me. I couldn’t see the roof of 203 Grand St, but across the street I saw a group of black kids on the rooftop of the NobleDEN (196 Grand St) throwing rocks. I have it on video.

It was thrown from at least 7 stories up. I was too shaken to go to the hospital at the time. No blood but a bump and since then I’ve had a migraine-like headache that hasn’t let up – I’ve been icing it at home, but 3 hours later it’s still going.

A few questions:
1. If there’s an internal injury, what do I do?
2. I bill my medical costs to the NobleDEN, since the rocks came from their rooftop?
3. Who do I contact – the city, city council, someone else? How?

I know calling the police probably won’t lead to anything.
