Hi badass NYC redditors. I need some help.
I, a style-less nerd, have somehow produced a daughter who is very into fashion.
She understands trends, she draws, she sews (learned how to use a sewing machine via a free class at our local library).
We are going to be in the city in late May, and I want to take advantage of the city’s fashion connection to get some special time with her and explore her interest together.
I’ve googled for ideas but the offerings seem to be very focused either on grown-ups, multi week camps, or “get your child a modeling job.” All of which would be unsuitable.
Does anyone know of any resources, classes, locations, museums, or…idk…clubs or anything that would be fun and also maybe give us something to think about?
Thank you so much!
EDIT: HOLY MOLY YOU GUYS RULE. I posted this, did some work, and came back to THE BEST RECOMMENDATIONS EVER. And some kind words about my parenting that may have brought a tear to my eye.
Thank you SO SO much for helping us have a great trip to NYC! We will try to pack in as many of these as possible!!!
