Emergency vehicle background noise is the soundtrack of NY, but a couple of ambulances are ridiculous. The FDNY ambulances have their volume on 11. The other is Hatzolah which combine ambulance, fire truck and truck horns at the same time, so you don’t know which vehicle to look for. As well, they cruise gingerly and in no rush, after they part traffic (UES) for some reason.
