We booked a table at 4 pm on a weekday at Boqueria at 40th st. When we ordered their seafood paella, the waiter told us it can take an hour to prepare and then we must vacate the table by 5:15, giving us only 15 minutes to eat it. (Nowhere in our opentable reservation did it state a time limit) We ended up ordering something else and managed to finsih by 5:15. But in the future, if any waiter asks us to leave within an unreasonable amount of time, I will tell them, “hey, that’s YOUR problem, not mine”.
