Absolutely loved it.
From the moment I entered: warm and friendly, beautiful space, service was 9.5/10, attentive but not intrusive.
Food was amazing, honestly 9.5/10. In lots of pics on here it has looked drab, but I found it beautiful, and well presented. I think maybe the day-time dining and the lovely natural light helped both the space and the food look its best.
Got a mid-meal ‘tour’ of the kitchen, really just walking back and standing behind a small counter for a little ‘amuse’ and some info. The service person who took me back answered questions and it was really amazing to see an army of people going about it like they were in an OR (my realm) with purpose and intensity, but having fun.
The Manhattan cart was fun (only had it come out for my first one, but had a nice chat with the bar… cart-tender?) and the drinks were well done.
I admit that I had not been able to get a reservation to work pre-covid and the vegetarian menu post-covid was a bit of a turn off (not revulsion, just was skeptical it would be worth it) and so after reading on here that they introduced three animal protein options in October, I jumped at the chance and got a lunch spot (full tasting menu, I believe).
I thought it was a wonderful experience and look forward to going back in a different season to try a new menu iteration.
EDIT – PRICE – $365… I erroneously stated $487. That was my total (before tip) including drinks, water, tax. My apologies for the mix up..
