Hi!
I am a restaurant operator and I have had restaurants for 15 years and since 2024, I noticed a slower traffic and sales. It looks like there is less people out, and the sales aren’t matching the pre pandemic. What is going on ? Where are the people ? The city feels empty but then the inventory on streeteasy looks full.. so people are here! My restaurant in the west village hasn’t bounced back since the pandemic and all the restaurant on my block are at the same point as us.
