Trip Report – 1 week in NYC

Day 1 Breakfast: Ess-a-Bagel – decent bagel but I felt it lacked lox Lunch: Minetta Tavern – the Black Label Burger is overrated and I will die on this hill Dinner: Empanada Mama – Plaintain chips with guac was 🔥

Day 2 Brunch: Clinton St. Baking Company – Latke Benedict and Maple Bourbon Pecan Pancakes were great Dinner: Julianna’s Brooklyn – meh

Day 3 Breakfast: Barney Greengrass – this was mid. They forgot about our latke Lunch: Torrisi – top 2 meal the whole trip. The tortellini was everything I imagined Dinner: Penny – Ice Box+ was alright. Baked Razor Clams were fantastic. Desserts were amazing

Day 4 Breakfast: TAP NYC – needed a healthy breakfast. Decent for healthy food Lunch: Le Bernardin – decent. Seafood done well but not mindblowing Dinner: Aska – some dishes were brilliant but some were just okay. Love the vibe though

Day 5 Breakfast: Utopia Bagels – best bagels this trip Lunch: Wheat & Water – lovely Italian near The Met with awesome tiramisu Dinner: Atomix (bar) – wow! Made me rethink Korean food. #1 meal this trip

Day 6: Breakfast: Katz’s – a classic Lunch: Prince St. Pizza – fave slice of the trip

… and I gained maybe 5-1bs in a week
