On Tuesdays they have a Patty melt with fries and a beer for $16. It’s grown in price from $12 to $14 to now $16 since 2023.
I’ve had it 15+ times over the past 3+ years.
The patty melt comes on griddled toast, with burger sauce, well browned onions, cheese, and a medium-well (how I like burgers TBH) good sized patty.
The fries are thin and I’d say “mcdonalds style”, they are very crispy and salty, the fries used to be peppered as well. I’ve never had an undercooked / floppy fry here. Fry portioning varies but is typically Very Good.
I like to get mayo on the side for my fries.
They also have a veggie burger option (good), you can also sub the fries for a salad (IMO bad).
Hit rate is 90%+, you can see the few instances they flopped: 01/01/2023 and 10/22/2023 for example.
The bar is Cash Only.
The bar itself is good too. Cocktails were $12 in 2023 and are now $14. Beer and shots have stayed at $8 since then. They do table service throughout the whole space which is pretty nice.
It gets quite busy in their “no smoking” allowed backyard in the summer, but is mostly a chill spot even on Tuesdays.
