Starting a new training program called fat a** runs. Where me, the fat a** runs to a bakery of my choosing to get a sweet treat that cancels out the whole run I just did. Today’s run was motivated by babka. I ran 10 miles around Manhattan and over the Williamsburg bridge to Oneg Bakery where I had the most decadent chocolate babka. The weather warmed it up so it was a bit melty and still had a good crunch. This babka slice weighs more than a brick and now I might have to run back home too but it’s worth it. Dare I say I think it’s better than Breads. Highly recommend Oneg if you’re in the area or want to leave the touristy dumbo/williamsburg area. The breads and smaller cookies looked great too, possibly for another training segment.
