I know I can’t be the only one feeling this way, but what happened to food events in this city actually being enjoyable?
I went to the Japan food event yesterday, and it was an absolute nightmare. The entire street was completely gridlocked, packed shoulder-to-shoulder. I spent more time trying not to get trampled than actually looking at the menus. You wait an hour in a disorganized line just to pay $18 for a single skewer, only to have to eat it standing up while being shoved by influencers trying to film a TikTok.
