This was from the one on 6th Ave. Given how things have been progressing around here, with Papaya Dog and Menkoi Sato (hopefully just temporarily) closing, and that stupid cheese wheel pasta place opening around the corner along with the soulless Cinnabon-Carvel-Auntie Anne’s cluster, I’ve been feeling extra-grateful for local gems like this. Picked this and a baked pork bun up this morning; the pork in that bun was quite good, a little leaner than Mei Lai Wah’s.
They got everything: baked buns, beef curry puffs, sandwiches, steamed buns, you name it. Plenty of sweet stuff too of course, but I’m a savory hound and I treasure it when i find it. And one of these sandwiches takes care of me for less $ than at a deli or sandwich shop.
