Just finished getting off the phone with 911 because while I was driving I saw an MTA bus with “Emergency Call 911.” So I do what I do when I see that, I call 911 and they ask me the same questions:
Where are you? What street did you see the bus? Did you happen to get the bus number? Which direction is the bus going? Did you see anything happening inside? #
I answer each question as clearly as I can, and they say thanks, get my name and callback, and that’s it. Never been called back.
This has happened a few times. But I can’t recall how many. The only time I recall is the first and second time it happened. I was a kid. I think I was 13 years old. These other teenagers at the bus stop made fun of me. So the next time it happened I didn’t call. That night I kept wondering if something happened.
Do you guys call? Why does this happen so much? Is it like a city test thing?
But now I’m having a really funny thought. What if it’s an advertisement for 911. Like “Are you having an emergency? Then you should call 911.” Lmaoooooou
