Pics 1-2: John’s of Bleecker St. (8) (solid pizza. Nothing to fault with it. But I can’t say it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had, maybe not even the best I’ve had in NYC on some of my solo trips.) Pics 3-4: Pasticceria Rocco (7)(decent cannolis with crispy shells. My son enjoyed his chocolate cake. Service was slow and kind of gruff) Pic 5: Liberty Bagel (8)(really good lox and bagel, but I somehow remember enjoying Ess-A-Bagel more when I was here years ago) Pic 6-13: Keen’s (10)(I sure paid out the butt for this meal, but it was outstanding. The steak (porterhouse for two) on its own was very under seasoned in my opinion. So thank goodness we got both the red wine sauce and the au poivre sauce to go with it. That set it over the top. My son got the double lamb chops. The fries and the creamed spinach were amazing. The smoked bacon and lobster bisque were excellent as well. The ice cream sundae and bananas foster were stellar as well)
Pic 14-19: Katz’s (9)(we opted for waiter service and I’m glad we didn’t have to deal with the line chaos. The pastrami and pastrami Reuben were great. My son had his first ever cheesesteak and really enjoyed it. I also had the Dr Brown soda for the first time and it was great. Pic 20: il Laboratorio del gelato (9)(very slow moving line, but great gelato. I got salted caramel and brown butter. I wish I would have gotten the strawberry and raspberry like my wife did. Hers was amazing. Very intense fruit flavor.)
