Took my first trip to NYC earlier this month! I stayed in Midtown but did try to venture further around Manhattan to try lots of different foods. The only thing that isn’t pictured is my Reuben dog from Schaller’s Stube Sausage Bar, which was good but it was way too dark to take a picture.

Since September I’ve been part of a burger club that’s trying a bunch of different burgers across NYC. I created a pretty rudimentary rating system so that I could determine which places packed the biggest punch in a somewhat objective style lol For burger lovers, thought this could be a cool resource 🙂 I haven’t

I walk outside for 5 min and my eyes start itching and nose starts running like a faucet. Anyone else? It seems really bad this year. Is it recency bias or is it climate change or did they plant too many trees? Noticed it’s also always so windy these days!! submitted by /u/screwbitfloor [link] [comments]

I’ve been living in NYC for 16 years. The homelessness situation was never this bad. I always thought San Francisco was on another level with homelessness, but I was recently there and it wasn’t nearly as bad as what I see daily here. I take the J train from lower Manhattan every day, and there’s

I didn’t have high expectations for the food here, but it turned out to be surprisingly good. The sliders were juicy and well seasoned, and the dumplings had a nice crisp with a juicy pork filling. I wanted to try the butterscotch pudding, which I heard is a must-order, but unfortunately it was sold out.

Let’s be real for a second: Carbone is the Olive Garden of the ultra-rich. It’s a vibe-heavy, nostalgia-dripping Italian-American joint dressed up in tuxedos and truffle oil. Think about it: • Overly rich sauces? Check. • Endless “family-style” platters that somehow cost $85? Check. • A menu designed to hit every craving from chicken parm
