“The Chicago Show” Highlights Emerging and Established Chicago Artists at Ortega y Gasset Projects

The Chicago Show

Ortega y Gasset Projects shifts its attention to Chicago with The Chicago Show, an exhibition curated by Clare Britt that brings together a wide slice of the city’s current artistic landscape. The show highlights Chicago’s enduring commitment to material experimentation, idiosyncratic abstraction, and the kind of studio-driven intensity that continues to shape the region’s identity.

While the exhibition spans generations and approaches, a shared sense of place runs through the work—echoes of the city’s industrial geometry, its pragmatism, and its persistent belief in the power of making.
